How we compared them: We didn’t enroll with either company or test any medication. This comparison uses each company’s website, terms and FAQ (checked October 22, 2026, unless a source says otherwise), FDA’s warning-letter database, and dated third-party reports where a company doesn’t publish something itself. Every claim is cited below. Both are Featured in our rankings: Enhance MD scores 8.6 (#1) and Gala scores 8.2.
The short answer
- Choose Enhance MD if you want to know which pharmacy fills your prescription, plus metabolic labs every six months, and you live in one of the roughly 40 states it serves.
- Choose Gala if price matters most, especially for compounded tirzepatide, or if you live in a state Enhance MD doesn’t serve.
- Either way, read the renewal and cancellation terms before you pay. Neither refunds much once treatment starts.

Price
Gala is cheaper on paper. Its homepage FAQ (checked October 22, 2026) says treatment starts at $199 per month with a 3-month plan, with final pricing set at checkout. Its tirzepatide page listed compounded tirzepatide at $199/mo all-included when we checked on October 19, and the site also shows a “Start for $179/mo” price, which a third-party review ties to an annual plan.
Enhance MD’s pricing page (checked October 22, 2026) lists compounded semaglutide at $212/mo and compounded tirzepatide at $280/mo, flat across doses, with promo first months of $112 and $180. A semaglutide + tirzepatide plan is listed at $322/mo. A third-party review reports $249/mo month-to-month for semaglutide, so check the current price at checkout.
Rough first-year cost, before taxes and any price changes:
- Semaglutide: Enhance MD about $2,444 (one $112 month plus 11 at $212); Gala about $2,388 at $199.
- Tirzepatide: Enhance MD about $3,260 (one $180 month plus 11 at $280); Gala about $2,388 at $199.
Enhance MD bills every 28 days, so a year has 13 billing cycles rather than 12, which adds roughly one more month’s charge. Our cheapest compounded semaglutide and cheapest compounded tirzepatide lists compare dated prices across more providers.
Pharmacies and safety
This is Enhance MD’s clearest advantage. Its Terms of Use name Rite-Away Pharmacy (San Antonio, TX), Vios Compounding Pharmacy and TruMedsRx as pharmacy partners, with contact details, and its FAQ lists Tru Meds Rx, Strive Pharmacy and Pharmacy Hub as current partners. The two lists differ, so ask which pharmacy will fill your prescription.
Gala doesn’t name its pharmacies. Its FAQ says it works with “a wide network of pharmacies across all 50 states,” and its homepage says compounded medications are sourced from licensed compounding pharmacies.
Both say compounded GLP-1s are not FDA-approved, and neither had an FDA warning letter in our October 2026 searches. Third-party reports list both as LegitScript certified; you can check on LegitScript’s lookup. Our guide to 503A vs. 503B pharmacies explains what the pharmacy type means.
Who provides care
Enhance MD’s terms say Enhance.MD LLC provides administrative support to clinicians employed by Enhance Wellness PC and iThriveMD PC, and that it doesn’t practice medicine. Gala says care is provided by independently owned medical practices, including OpenLoop-affiliated medical groups. Enhance MD includes a video consultation and metabolic lab testing every six months; Gala doesn’t list routine labs.
Refunds and cancellation
Enhance MD: its FAQ says you’ll be refunded if you aren’t deemed a candidate for the program. Membership renews automatically every 28 days and must be canceled before the next billing cycle; full subscription terms are shown at checkout.
Gala (Cancellation and Refund Policy, last updated February 2026): a full refund only if a clinician disqualifies you for medical reasons. Cancellation requests must reach Gala at least 72 hours before your billing date, or you’ll be charged for one more cycle. Dispensed medication can’t be returned.
Track record
Gala has the larger public review base (about 4.6 on Trustpilot from roughly 3,900 merged reviews, per a third-party report), though reviewers also report charges after cancellation, so keep written confirmation. Enhance MD has a smaller sample (about 4.1 from roughly 130 to 150 reviews, per a third-party report), with complaints about shipping delays. See our full Enhance MD review and Gala review.
Bottom line
Enhance MD is our #1 pick for transparency: named pharmacies, labs included and flat pricing across doses, at a higher price and in fewer states. Gala costs less, especially for tirzepatide, and serves all 50 states, but doesn’t name its pharmacies and refunds only for medical disqualification. Also compare Enhance MD vs. Found, Enhance MD vs. Fridays, MEDGm vs. Gala and Fridays vs. Gala. Whether any medication is right for you is a decision for you and a licensed clinician.
